Quick healthy tips of the day


I’m sure most of us are aware of the fact that we need to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. The reason for that is simple: water makes up about 60% of our body weight. For example: our brain is composed of 70% water and our lungs of roughly 90% water. Our whole system depends on water. Water carries nutrients to our cells, detoxifies our vital organs, increases your metabolism,keeps the skin moisturized and  replenishes skin cells and tissues (hello gorgeous skin).

A few simple tips to make sure you’ll drink enough water:
§- As soon as you wake up, drink a glass of water.
§- Keep a bottle of fresh water with you everywhere you go.
§- At home, make sure you keep a bottle (preferably made out of glass) with water on the kitchen counter, on
your desk, on the table etc.
§- Spice up the ‘boring’ taste of water: add some fresh lemon or orange slices, (frozen) red fruit, small pieces of watermelon, slices of cucumber with a pinch of celtic salt or a few mint leaves. You can also combine these ingredients, for example: lemon with mint and cucumber. Not only will your water taste better, it’s also kind of fancy looking. And we all want some ‘fancy’ sometimes, don’t we?!

These tips will help you to form the habit of drinking more water. It really is a habit. Once you’re ‘on track’ you will notice that you’ll feel more energized, focused and you’re skin will look amazing.
