Yes, yes..I know..Christmas is over, but with this one I’ve got a duty to tend to. My love for art, breathtaking (christmas) window displays, fashion, details etc. etc. makes me feel that I still have to share this amazing project with y’all. I’m talking about the ‘Christmas-windows-project’ at Printemps Hausmann in Paris.
*Unfortunately this is not a live-report from Paris…sigh..*
Basically, as the Printemps website says, Dior is spending winter at Printemps. Dior took over the Christmas windows of the fashion house and now these windows are screaming Dior, Dior, Dior (in a lovely, charming and fashionable voice). Dior-puppets are dancing, ice skating, flying etc., wearing replicas of Dior dresses and caring mini-version Dior Bags. One of the creative brains behind this project are Jean-Claude Dehix (the puppet maker) and Garance Wilkens (illustrator).
So, off to Paris? If you are, this is a great ‘to visit’-tip.
